
Lindsay Walker
Lindsay Walker earned her bachelor’s degree in English literature from Barrett, the Honors College at Arizona State University. While there, she wrote for the State Press and went to work in the advertising industry. After three years, she decided to pursue her true passion of writing. She returned to ASU once again to start working towards a graduate degree in journalism. Walker hopes to hone her narrative writing skills at Cronkite and write features for a digital publication when she graduates.

Harrison Mantas
Harrison Mantas is a graduate journalism student at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at ASU. He received his Bachelor’s in Film Production from the USC School of Cinematic Arts, and worked in television production in the years following. Harrison changed career paths to journalism, because he wanted to work in a field where he could empower individuals to participate in their community. At Cronkite, Harrison is combining his skills in film and television with his interests in community and investigative news.

Kailey Broussard
Kailey Broussard is a multimedia journalist based in Phoenix. With roots in Lafayette, Louisiana, she spent two years at The Advocate as a freelancer and a digital intern. She also held multiple design, reporting and editing positions at her student paper, The Vermilion, over four years. As a graduate student, Kailey is focusing on furthering her investigative reporting skills across all platforms.

Amy Xiaoshi-DePaola
Originally from Guangzhou, China, Amy-Xiaoshi DePaola moved from the small mountain town of Lake Arrowhead and spent most of her life in Long Beach, California. From there, she earned her bachelor’s in English education at CSULB. She currently attends Arizona State University’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism as a graduate student. In addition to her classes, she writes for the Donald W. Reynolds National Center for Business Journalism and contributes to the Downtown Devil. Amy believes in the importance of telling stories, particularly elevating the unheard and under-represented voices.
