Anikka Abbott is working towards her Master of Mass Communication in Broadcast Journalism at the Cronkite School. Someday, she would like to anchor for a national news network. She graduated summa cum laude from Pacific Lutheran University with a Bachelor of Music in Opera Performance in 2015. Anikka has held 3 local level titles in the Miss America Organization.

Megan U. Boyanton is a master’s student at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University in Phoenix, Az. She is a graduate of the Louisiana Scholars’ College at Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, La. Her career focus is on foreign correspondence and long-form journalism.

Grayson Schmidt is a 2015 graduate of THE University of Iowa and currently pursuing a master’s degree in mass communication. Prior to coming to ASU, he was the crime/public safety reporter for the Ames Tribune in Ames, Iowa for three years. Grayson hopes to use his experience and skills to one day write for Last Week Tonight with John Oliver or The Daily Show, or whatever allows him to shine a light on serious issues using a comedic tone.

Nathan Hiatt is a first-year sports journalism graduate student at Arizona State University in the Walter Cronkite School for Journalism and Mass Communication. He received a B.S. in sports media with an emphasis in multimedia journalism from Oklahoma State University, graduating in May 2018. He primarily has focused on print and digital writing, but he has experience with broadcast and multimedia.
